Designed for balanced pacing, you’ll ride iconic roads like Tham Ma and Ma Pi Leng, boat the Nho Que through Tu San Canyon, and explore Cao Bang’s Khau Coc Cha, Trung Khanh valleys and Nguom Ngao Cave. Small groups, local guides, flexible vehicle options.
Take the night sleeper bus from Hanoi to Ha Giang. Arrive at dawn, check in and rest at Loop Trails Hostel, enjoy a warm drink and prepare for tomorrow’s briefing.
08:00 Breakfast & Loop briefing at the hostel. Climb Bac Sum Pass into clouds and crest Quan Ba Heaven Gate.
12:30 Lunch in Yen Minh. Enter the Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark via the photogenic Tham Ma Pass hairpins, wander stone‑walled alleys in Lao Sa, and visit the stately Vuong Palace (H’Mong royal residence).
17:00 Arrive in Dong Van, check in to a homestay. Evening: dinner, local games, folk music and “happy water”.
10:00 Trek the Ma Pi Leng Skywalk for eagle‑eye views over the Nho Que gorge.
11:30 Board a boat on the jade‑green Nho Que River, gliding beneath Tu San Canyon—one of the deepest in Asia. Continue via Meo Vac to Bao Lac for the night.
09:00 Conquer the photogenic Khau Coc Cha Pass.
10:30 Soak in Xuan Truong Valley, then wind over Na Tenh Pass toward Ha Quang.
16:00 Arrive at Me Farmstay, rest and enjoy a hearty dinner.

This tour is suitable for most fitness levels. While you don't need to be an athlete, you should be comfortable sitting on a motorbike for extended periods or in a vehicle on winding mountain roads. The homestay accommodation is basic but clean and comfortable.
Ha Giang weather varies by season. October-April is cooler (10-20°C) with possible fog. May-September is warmer (20-30°C) but with occasional rain. We provide rain ponchos but recommend bringing warm layers year-round.
