Our Ha Giang Loop Tour 4D3N is designed for travelers who want the full 4-day adventure: motorbike thrills, jeep comfort, or SUV convenience.
This 4 days 3 nights route balances big mountain scenery with authentic culture—Ma Pi Leng Pass, Lung Khuy Cave, Lung Cu Flag Tower, Nho Que River and Du Gia—at a comfortable pace.

Take the comfortable night sleeper bus from Hanoi to Ha Giang. At dawn, arrive at Loop Trails Hostel, check in, enjoy a hot tea or shower and catch a little rest before tomorrow’s briefing.

08:00 Breakfast and a friendly Loop briefing at the hostel. 09:00 Throttle up through Bac Sum Pass into cool mountain air and crest Quan Ba Heaven Gate for sweeping views of the karst valleys.

12:30 Local lunch in Tam Son. Then stretch your legs on a short trek to Lung Khuy Cave—the most beautiful cave in Quan Ba—wandering through vast chambers and glittering formations.

17:00 Roll into Yen Minh and check in to a welcoming homestay. Evening brings dinner, fun games, folk music and a little “happy water” with new friends.

08:00 Breakfast and check‑out. Enter the Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark via the photogenic Tham Ma Pass hairpins—camera at the ready.

Stroll stone‑walled alleys in Lao Sa near the China border, cruise through flower‑lined Sung La valley, and step back in time at the stately Vuong Palace, the former H’Mong royal residence.

Finish the day at Lung Cu Flag Tower, Vietnam’s northernmost point, for a border‑peak panorama. Descend to Dong Van for sunset, check in to a homestay and enjoy a lively dinner with folk music and “happy water”.

08:00 Ride the ledges of the legendary Ma Pi Leng Pass—one of Vietnam’s four greatest—where each corner opens to heart‑pounding vistas.

10:00 Glide by boat on the jade‑green Nho Que River beneath Tu San Canyon, among the deepest in Asia. Then step onto the Ma Pi Leng Skywalk for eagle‑eye perspectives.

13:00 Lunch, then roll past Lung Ho viewpoint and over M Pass to peaceful Du Gia. Check in to a cozy homestay; dinner, music, games and “happy water”.

08:00 Breakfast with rice‑field views, then a refreshing swim at the Du Gia waterfall.

12:30 Lunch in Thai An, a quiet valley on the way back to Quan Ba.

14:00 Visit Lung Tam linen village to see traditional H’Mong weaving, then glide back over Quan Ba Heaven Gate to Loop Trails Hostel. Choose the night bus to Hanoi or onward travel.

This tour is suitable for most fitness levels. While you don't need to be an athlete, you should be comfortable sitting on a motorbike for extended periods or in a vehicle on winding mountain roads. The homestay accommodation is basic but clean and comfortable.
Ha Giang weather varies by season. October-April is cooler (10-20°C) with possible fog. May-September is warmer (20-30°C) but with occasional rain. We provide rain ponchos but recommend bringing warm layers year-round.
